Horsemanship 101 classes are currently offered at Buffalo Grass Barns and Wild Heart Ranch, both located about 45 minutes North of the Golden Gate Bridge in the Petaluma/Cotati area of Northern California.

Buffalo Grass Barns is located on scenic Roblar Road just North of Petaluma, CA. Surrounded by rolling hillsides and tall Monterey Pines, it is a peaceful, magical place to spend time with the horses and be truly present in nature.

Wild Heart Restart Ranch
Wild Heart Restart Ranch is just up the road from Buffalo Grass Barns, and is a place where any and all souls are welcome to come re-set and re-start. As a 501(c) nonprofit organization, Wild Heart’s mission is to help all animals, primarily BLM Mustangs and Off the Track Thoroughbreds, get the time and training they need to be set up for success as riding partners in their new lease on life.
